Ship of Magic review

| Reading time: 2 minutes

It's been a long time since I've read a Robin Hobb book, and I didn't remember much about her style. One thing I did remember is that she likes to torture her characters, and that's definitely true in this book too.

Berserk: Vol 1 review

| Reading time: ~1 minute

I've been interested in Berserk for a while, it's one of the classic manga and a huge inspiration to a ton of the grimdark authors that I enjoy. I've watched about 10 episodes of the 1997 anime adaptation before I fell off; figuring I'd enjoy it better if I had read the manga first. I've finally...

The Blacktongue Thief review

| Reading time: ~1 minute

The Blacktongue Thief is a book that's been on my radar for quite a while, after having read and really enjoying Between Two Fires by the same author, but I've been putting it off because the blurb on Goodreads is rather generic. Especially when compared to the uniqueness of Between Two Fires, I...

Damiano review

| Reading time: ~1 minute

Damiano is an enchanting, charming novel that has a lot of the features I like in my fantasy novels. It's set in an alternate medieval Italy, one of my favorite settings, and the magic is wild and unexplained - something I really enjoy among the recent trend of explaining everything like it's a...

About

My name's Mike, and this is the Lore Repository - my spot online where I can write out my thoughts on games, books, tech, movies, and anything else I find interesting.

My biggest project is my Game Library Project. I have a ton of games collected throughout the years, and have barely played any of them. Check out the linked post to learn more about the project, and click here to be taken to the category page where you can see all my posts for the project.

Another project I'm working on is my Pokemon Living Dex Challenge, where I try to obtain one of each available Pokemon and transfer them into Pokemon Home.

Yet another project I'm working on is my Old School RuneScape "Completionist" Quest, where I'm attempting to max out all skills and see everything the game has to offer as a completely new player.

Other content comes mainly in 3 forms:
Reviews, where I post longer-form review writeups
Thoughts, short & quick first impressions posts
Guides, detailed how-tos and walkthroughs
