EA Sports FC 26 (formerly the FIFA series) was given out as a PS Plus freebie this month, and while I don't purchase soccer games anymore, I'll play them if I have the opportunity. I've played a few matches of this, and it's pretty good.
Promise Mascot Agency is a game that kind of came out of nowhere for me. I hadn't seen much buzz for it, then randomly came across the steam page for it and decided to add it to my wishlist. It was recently on sale on Playstation so I picked it up there.
Every year, the sports games get me during the playoffs. One of my teams will get hot and make a run, and I'll get the urge to play that year's sports game. This year is no different, and currently the Flyers are making a run, so here I am once again playing the newest NHL game.
Stunt Paradise is a bit like Trials, but with car instead of dirtbikes. It has the same gameplay, where you move through 2D sidescroller levels, and control the car's rotation with the left stick.
Need for Speed Unbound was released a couple years ago, and was made a free January PS Plus game. It's been on my radar for a while, but the middling reviews always put me off from buying it, even cheaply.
Square Enix has pretty rapidly been remastering the Dragon Quest games, with 3 and 1-2 coming out in the last couple of years, and 7 coming out in February. Preceding its release they've released a demo, so I took a couple hours to check it out.
My name's Mike, and this is the Lore Repository - my spot online where I can write out my thoughts on games, books, tech, movies, and anything else I find interesting.
My biggest project is my Game Library Project. I have a ton of games collected throughout the years, and have barely played any of them. Check out the linked post to learn more about the project, and click here to be taken to the category page where you can see all my posts for the project.
Other content comes mainly in 3 forms:
• Reviews, where I post longer-form review writeups
• Thoughts, short & quick first impressions posts
• Guides, detailed how-tos and walkthroughs (rare)
