Bang Average Football

June 14, 2026 - Reading time: ~1 minute - Category: game library project

Bang Average Football is an arcade soccer game. There's quite a few of these types of games out there, and this one is pretty good.

These types of games will never compete with the likes of EA FC, and that's ok. The controls are simple, the players are made up, and I realize the real licenses are a lot of the appeal for a lot of people playing. I mostly agree. But sometimes you just want something a little simpler and this fits the bill.

The offensive controls are great, but I find the defensive controls a little underwhelming. There's only one control, a slide tackle, and I haven't managed to do it without getting a foul called on me.

No guarantee I play this very long, but it's a nice little timewaster.

Verdict: Timewaster
