Old Skies

April 8, 2026 - Reading time: ~1 minute - Category: game library project

Old Skies is Wadjet Eye's latest point and click adventure game. I've been a fan of point and clicks for quite a few years now, and Wadjet Eye's are the cream of the crop.

This game represents a huge leap forward in graphical fidelity from their previous games, and while it looks great, I think I might like the lower resolution art better. It's early, but some of the charm feels a bit lost here. The voice acting and what little of the music I've heard are excellent, and if this is anything like Wadjet Eye's other games, it'll have a charming representation of New York as well.

I haven't played this game long enough to get sucked into the story yet, but I'm sure I will. Wadjet Eye's games are consistently great, and every one of them feels like a treat.

Verdict: Keep Playing
