Warhammer 40,000: Darktide

July 31, 2026 - Reading time: ~1 minute - Category: game library project

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is a 4 player class-based horde game in the vein of Left 4 Dead. If you've played the Vermintide games, it's the successor to those.

In Darktide, you pick a class and play through a few loose campaigns, leveling up and unlocking new weapons, switching to a new class, rinse and repeat. It's fun, but pretty mindless. I played the tutorial and one level, and while matchmaking was quick, I was put into a lobby with two veterans who rushed right through the level.

The gameplay feels great, but I feel like this game would be much more fun with a group of friends, and unfortunately, I just don't have a group that'll play this with me. I'm also not a huge 40k fan.

Verdict: Uninstall
