I've made a mistake. Last month, Jagex released their yearly League, which is a separate game mode where you start a brand new character, with vastly increased XP rates, combat buffs, and a bunch of other perks.
Well, I played it so much that I completely burned myself out on the game. In just a few weeks I played this League for over 130 hours. Several hours a day just grinding out tasks I haven't even gotten close to in the main game. I got almost all combat stats to 99, and most of my other stats are high level as well:

The Leagues mode also gives you a bunch of tasks to complete, earning you points thank rank you up in reward tiers, unlocking new cosmetic rewards in the main game. I did several hundred of these tasks:

The bad news is I just don't feel like playing the game anymore. I'm finally playing a few other games and am giving myself a bit of a cooldown. Leagues ends in a few weeks, and I'll probably jump back into the main game when it's done, but I don't think I'll be playing for hours on end for the time being.
